To use ip filter, set
ipfilter=yesat /etc/rc.conf and write the filter rules at /etc/ipf.conf. "pass all" by default.
You need
ip4forwarding=yesat /etc/rc.conf. Configurations are properly set by default. For example, it is "yes" by default for natbox model.
If you use fdgw as IPv6 router, specify
ip6forwarding=yesat rc.conf. It is "yes" by default for natbox model.
