What is fondub ?

Fondub is a simple perl script to convert mpeg2 to mpeg4. It is a very tiny version of GordianKnot or autodub. [1]

My primary objective is to create a perl script without GUI on windows:)

Fondub is a perl script and an encoder wrapper, not encoder itself. It drives several programs. See the figure below.

If you need not to cut off CM, [2] just click twice to get .avi file. [3] one is to create a batch file, the other is to run the batch file.

fondub processes all mpeg2 files in the specified directory by default. If you need to process a lot of mpeg2 files for conversion, it may be very helpful.
